**Job Summary:**

AMcomm Incorporated is seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and maintaining a variety of small engines such as Ditch Witch 255SX, other boring and trenching machines, and other small equipment.

• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - Proven experience as a Small Engine Mechanic
• - Strong knowledge of small engine operation and repair techniques
• - Knowledge of hydraulic systems
• - Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues accurately
• - Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

**Responsibilities:**

• - Inspect engine parts and systems to diagnose issues accurately
• - Repair or replace damaged engine parts
• - Perform routine maintenance on small engines
• - Test and lubricate engines to ensure proper functionality
• - Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities

**Skills:**

• - Strong mechanical aptitude
• - Excellent problem-solving skills
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• - Good communication skills
• - Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy equipment

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• - Additional certifications in small engine repair
• - Experience working with a variety of small engine types
• - Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a workshop environment
• - Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship
