Job Description
America's Test Kitchen is looking for a talented Senior Video Editor to edit longer-form video and television content. The ideal candidate has experience editing longer-form videos or half-hour television shows, a passion for food, proficiency with NLE systems including Premiere and After Effects, experience with color correction and graphics, keen organizational and project management skills, a knack for creative problem solving, and the ability to adapt and collaborate in a fast-paced creative team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Edit long-form videos and television episodes for OTT and digital distribution
- Ability to use After Effects for graphics
- Experience with color correction and basic audio finishing
- Lead junior staff editors in best practices for post production
- Manage post-production workflow
- Work with senior producers and other stakeholders to execute strategy
- Work with Post-Supervisor on media management
- Edit video content, working with producers, directors, design and other relevant departments
- Proficiency with NLE systems required (Premiere, AE, etc.), including editing, graphics & color correction
- Keep up-to-date with video production trends
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - 5+ years of experience editing long-form digital video content or television
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
- Must have a collaborative team-oriented mentality along with the ability to work independently and under close direction
- Must have great communication skills and be able to give and receive critical feedback in a team environment
- Culinary video experience and a passion for cooking a plus.

This position is located in our Boston, MA office in the Seaport district. It is the expectation that the person in this role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in the office and 2 days per week remotely.
