Company Overview Pantheon Data (a Kenific Holding company) is a private, small business based in the Washington, DC, area. Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years, including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.
Position Overview The Office of Program Accountability and Risk Management (PARM) manages Department of Homeland Security (DHS)-wide policy, governance, and oversight of the largest and most complex DHS acquisition programs and supports senior leadership decision making to ensure effective and efficient program execution. The
Senior Policy Analyst - Tech Editor will directly support the PARM Chief of Staff and Front Office.
Responsibilities - Develop, review, and edit executive correspondence and other deliverables with proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
- Recommend edits to improve the clarity, conciseness, and format of executive level documentation.
- Develop new or updating existing reference sheets, one pagers, standard operating procedures, policy, reports, and other work products.
- Create process flow diagrams, tables, charts, and other graphics to support the development/updating of work products.
- Provide recommendations that result in the automation or improved efficiency of Government processes.
Required Skills and Experience - 3 years of experience and BA/BS degree or 6+ years of related experience.
- Proven experience as a technical writer/editor.
- In-depth knowledge of DHS processes, programs, and terminology.
- Strong understanding of government and defense-related documentation standards.
- Proficiency in using relevant tools and software for document creation and editing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and effectively communicate to diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills and Experience - DHS or other government experience desired.
- Microsoft SharePoint experience desired.
Education Clearance Requirements U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Work Location Remote, with possible occasional travel to PARM offices in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
Compensation The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
