**What were looking for**

Vacasa is looking for a strong leader who is competent, energetic, and highly skilled in communications and people management to join our team as a Food and Beverage Manager. You are responsible for identifying leaders, coaching and growing your team into a strong unit that can manage to KPIs and understand where better efficiency can be gained while balanced against a focus on quality. Above all else, you will be a strong leader who drives your team to create amazing owner, guest, and employee experiences.

**What youll do**

* Manage the food and beverage daily operations in Bahama Bay Resort ( Davenport, FL )

* Manage an efficient and high-quality team, ensuring they are trained, effective, and adhere to all Vacasa policies and procedures.

* Meet and maintain Vacasa standards and metrics such as member and guest satisfaction, restaurant appearance and cleanliness, and efficiency.

* Develop, implement and maintain compliance with SOPs for F&B operations

* Responsible for managing the budget and planning department goals. Forecast, implement, monitor, control and report on the various budgets and their components.

* Maintain par level inventories of food, beverage and other supplies. Establish methods of inventory control and maintain proper ordering procedures for Just-In-Time purchasing. Participate in physical inventories.

* Develop, implement, maintain and update menu offerings in accordance with customer trends, needs, feedback, etc., to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects.

* Recommend and implement promotions, displays, presentations and ideas, to capture more in-house guests and a larger share of the local market.

* Support your team to ensure they are fully prepared for daily operations and step in to assist where needed to ensure guest service and satisfaction.

* Provide cross-coverage for your team when necessary

**Skills** **youll need**

* 2-3 years of food service supervision experience and at least 1 year of customer service supervision experience in service or retail environment.

* Serve Safe Certification strongly preferred. TIPS certification is a plus.

* Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, early mornings and evenings as needed.

* Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls and texts

* Basics to complex kitchen equipment, small appliances and kitchen tools knowledge

* Basic knowledge of inventory and rotation of food

* Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets and mobile devices

* Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment

* Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions

* Highly responsive and reliable

* Adhere to all company policies and procedures

* Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms

* Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time

* Reach overhead and below the waist

* Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds

* Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds

* Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
