Job Title: Program Manager

The Program Manager is responsible for all operations for Steel Shipping Rack Repairs and CMM Verification. A continuous improvement approach is necessary and accomplished with a hands-on style when establishing and improving production processes on the plant floor. This position

requires daily interaction with floor personnel and supervisors, and is responsible for all KPl's in Productivity, Quality, Safety, and Cost. The successful candidate will be able to multitask, have excellent communication skills, participate in customer meetings, and demonstrate the required sense of urgency for the position.

· Daily attention to production scheduling, attainment and on time delivery.

· Responsible for the team's KPl's and financial performance and contribution.

· Formulate short and long-term strategy relative to safety, on-time delivery to the customer, cost reduction, quality improvement, capacity planning, and financial goals.

· Motivate and retain critical personnel to meet and exceed company goals and customer expectations.

· Establish production plans that maximize labor and talent.

· Strong leadership, influencing and mentoring skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.

· Proven record of consistently improving operational performance.

· Ability to develop a successful manufacturing team.

· Ability to utilize computer software for communicating, presenting, and analyzing the operation.

· Bachelor’s degree preferred but the right candidate with substantial years of experience will be considered.

· Manufacturing experience a plus with automotive industry experience preferred.

· 10 years experience supervision or management experience required. Metal fabrication and welding experience a plus. This position manages 10-15 employees.

· Experience in a job shop environment with high mix, low to high volume production experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year
