Job Description

Christ’s Church of the Valley is dedicated to WIN people to Christ, TRAIN believers to become disciples and SEND disciples to impact the world. The Mission Trip Coordinator will support the SEND mission of CCV by work collaboratively with the Global Outreach Team to facilitate the daily activities of the department. This includes, but is not limited to: assisting in the coordinating all short term mission trips and assisting the team in making special mission projects and events a success. 

Job Description

Essential Job Functions 

• Assist in discovering and designing intriguing and effective Mission Trips 
• Recruit and train Mission Trip leaders 
• Assist leaders in recruitment of Mission Trip participants 
• Coordinate logistics of Mission Trips (dates, registrations, payments, documentation, travel plans, trip follow-up, etc.) 
• Develop and maintain ministry relationships with Mission Trip partners 
• Support all Missions related activities and events 
• Work collectively with Missions Team to complete daily tasks and needs with excellence

• A passion for reaching the lost 
• Personal integrity in all areas of life 
• Must be – or willing to become – a participating member of CCV 
• Regularly attends worship services with their family 
• Is an active participant in a neighborhood group, a transformation group and is a regular tither

• Interpersonal Skills – relates well to all kinds of people and builds effective relationships, communicates effectively both interpersonally and corporately.

Education & Experience 

• Previous Overseas experience 
• Event coordination is an asset 
• Data entry and manipulation is an asset
