Job Description
This is a Full Time, Day Shift, Medical Scribe position supporting NW Cardiology Clinic at 6320 N. La Cholla Blvd #300. The scribe accompanies physician during patient examination to transcribe information quickly and accurately into the electronic medical records for the purpose of streamlining patient care. Scribes also complete clerical activities necessary to assist with processing of physician orders for tests and medications.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience.
Experience: Two to four years of undergraduate education with emphasis in pre-medical studies preferred.
Skills: Recognition of physical exam process and ability to accurately record exam details. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment required. Must be able to utilize computer for designated applications. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional demeanor and recognition of privacy considerations for patients and families.
