INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE - Pharmaceutical Equipment

  • Trevose, PA 19053.
  • Full-time. Monday - Friday.
  • Employer Paid Medical Insurance.


We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative, whose mission is to ensure that our customers have a superior experience with ESCO Technologies Pharmaceutical Equipment. The inside sales representative provides support to the internal and external sales team in converting pre-qualified leads into new revenue-generating business and in turning existing clients into repeat business. Candidates shall possess superlative customer-facing sales skills, adept in managing schedules & inventory, and have a sense of adventure to travel & discover new ways to assist our client base.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Quotation generation and bid documents including costing.
  • Review of Client Terms and Conditions ensuring limited exposure for ESCO.
  • Coordination with the factory to gain delivery times and costing where needed.
  • Coordinate with engineers to gain information/drawings.
  • Work with external sales representatives, customers and other ESCO offices, to support the internal sales functions to include the annual exhibition schedule/calendar.
  • Review of customer specifications to determine requirements.
  • Aid in the compilation of internal sales template documents.
  • Aid in compiling and conducting customer sales presentations.
  • Aid in compiling white papers on past projects for marketing.
  • Support external sales representatives at onsite and remote technical sales discussions.
  • Ensure prioritization of quotation requests is met timely and ensure quote deadlines are met.
  • Maintenance of the sales proposal log and submittal to headquarters at the end of every month.
  • Assist Marketing to develop literature, ESCO’s marketing signage, and tools to be used at shows, sales events, and by customers Sales forecasts, reporting and statistical assessments are part of this job function.


Job Qualifications:

  • BA in sciences or business field preferred; Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
  • Solid understanding of medical equipment uses.
  • Prior corporate sales experience is a must.
  • Experience with CRM software (Sales Force preferred).
  • A flexible and forward-thinking approach to match the business ethos, with energy and passion to devote to their position.
  • Strong personal organizational skills with orientation to detail.
  • Proficient Information Technology understanding.
  • Experience with basic AutoCAD preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Professional presentation skills.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and willingness to travel when necessary.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn.
