The Division of Infectious Disease Banner University Medical Group is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Infectious Disease team.The Nurse Practitioner will work alongside a dedicated Musculoskeletal Infectious Disease Specialist, providing high quality medical management to patients with complicated bone and joint infections within the academic environment.
The Division has a broad range of clinical programs, including a robust Ryan White-funded HIV clinic, the Valley Fever Center for Excellence, a multi-disciplinary orthopedic[RT1] infectious diseases clinic, an antimicrobial stewardship program, and an outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy program.This role is focused on inpatient and outpatient care of patients with musculoskeletal infections within our Tucson hospitals and clinics. Practice Details: - Patient management in both hospital and clinic settings
- Average patients per day - 8 (Inpatient) | 8-10 per ½ day clinic (Outpatient)
- Team work with colleagues, orthopedic surgeons, and podiatrists
- Collaborative team that will invest in YOU!
Qualifications: - APP experience in Infectious Disease is a plus!
- Board Certification required
- Current prescribing privileges
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
- Great communication skills
- Collaborative team player
- Dependability
- Highly qualified new graduates be considered

Work Schedule: - Mon-Fri | 8-5 | Hospital/Clinic/Admin
- No weekends
- No night call
