Location: United States (Remote option available)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000 per year

Job Summary:

As a Senior Front End Developer, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of web applications. You will work closely with UX designers and back-end developers to create responsive, scalable, and visually appealing interfaces. This role requires a deep understanding of web development technologies and a commitment to keeping up with industry trends.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts.
  • Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code using a variety of technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring web accessibility standards are met.
  • Lead front-end development projects, collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Review and refactor existing front-end codebase to improve scalability and performance.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate them into user-friendly interfaces.
  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into operations and activities.
  • Conduct performance tests, troubleshoot interface software, and debug code to ensure robust, high-quality outputs.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve overall product workflow in an agile environment.
Required Skills:
  1. Proficiency in frontend languages such as HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript.
  2. Extensive experience with React and its core principles.
  3. Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript (ES6+).
  4. Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
  5. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  6. Understanding of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
  7. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
  8. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  9. A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
  10. Excellent problem-solving skills.
