Job Description

Job Description

Vision: We see a world where each individual understands their God-given mission in life and is doing their best to fulfill it; a world where Catholic leaders are influential voices in society; a world where Jesus' example of loving, servant leadership is modeled in every family, workplace, parish, and community.

Purpose: Catholic Leadership Institute (CLI) provides bishops, priests, deacons, religious, and lay persons in the Roman Catholic Church with world-class, pastoral leadership formation and consulting services that strengthen their confidence and competence in ministry, enabling them to articulate a vision for their local church, to call forth the gifts of those they lead, and to create more vibrant faith communities rooted in Jesus Christ.

Summary: As a member of the Communication Team, the Communications Intern will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with colleagues across the apostolate to share the mission of Catholic Leadership Institute. With a focus on key internal and external audiences, there will be opportunities to apply organizational branding and messaging across a variety of print and digital channels. As a growing apostolate, there are a variety of areas to assist with planning, researching, and organizing content with a renewed sense of mission and creativity. The intern will work 20 to 30 hours per week.

Skill Development and Benefits: The Communications Intern will have the opportunity to develop and strengthen their writing and editing skills, while honing their critical thinking skills through research and interviews. Working in a fast-paced remote environment will help the Communications Intern hone their time management skills as well as their overall reliability and dependability. Participating in the communal life of CLI will give the Communications Intern the opportunity to deepen their Catholic faith and develop a sense of hope for the church.
