The Boat/Yacht Sales Manager is a key leadership role within our organization, responsible for driving sales growth, managing sales teams, and developing strategies to achieve revenue targets. This position plays a critical role in shaping the company's sales direction and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities: - Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies and objectives that align with the company's business goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage sales teams, including setting performance targets and conducting regular evaluations.
- Sales Training: Provide training and mentorship to sales staff to enhance their product knowledge and selling skills.
- Sales Planning: Create sales plans, forecasts, and budgets, and monitor progress toward sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competition.
- Sales Collateral: Develop and ensure the availability of effective sales collateral, presentations, and materials.
- Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with pricing teams to set competitive pricing strategies.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, key metrics, and forecasts to senior management.
- Sales Channels: Manage and develop sales channels, including direct sales, partnerships, and distribution networks.
- Customer Acquisition: Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies to expand the customer base.
- Sales Promotions: Plan and implement sales promotions, incentives, and marketing campaigns.
- Sales Negotiation: Participate in complex sales negotiations and contracts.
- Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales revenues and inventory requirements.
- Compliance: Ensure sales activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement sales process enhancements.
- Customer Feedback: Collect and incorporate customer feedback to enhance products and services.
- Sales Events: Coordinate and participate in sales events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to achieve sales objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience in sales management and leadership roles, with a track record of achieving sales targets.

Position Type: This is a full-time executive position with regular business hours, but flexibility may be required based on sales needs and responsibilities.
