Accounts Receivable Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager for a growing client in the Fairfield, Ohio area. The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee the billing, cash application, and collections processes. This role is crucial in centralizing our collections efforts and ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable management, excellent leadership skills, and experience in the construction industry or similar. This position is direct hire and will pay between $70K and $95K annually depending on experience and education. This role is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and issuance of invoices to clients.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of billing information.
• Coordinate with project managers to verify billing milestones and project progress.
• Manage the application of cash receipts to customer accounts.
• Reconcile discrepancies and resolve payment issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Develop and implement a centralized collections process.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Communicate with clients to resolve payment delays and disputes.
• Build and lead a high-performing accounts receivable team.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations for team members.
• Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and performance metrics.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in the construction industry or similar.
• Strong knowledge of billing, cash application, and collections processes.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
