The Role The Honest Company has kicked off the search for an Account Manager to support our Amazon business! Under the supervision of the Senior Director, the Account Manager will help devise and implement strategies to increase revenue, grow market share, and improve CX. This is a multifaceted role that will span across multiple functions, however there will be a large emphasis on Merchandising, SEO, and Analytics & Insights. The right candidate will be able to seamlessly collaborate with cross-functional departments as well as be able to approach the business from both an enterprise- and customer-mindset.
The objective is to increase volume, search ranking, and conversion via data driven decisions. This person must be extremely proactive, have the ability to implement processes and reporting, and have a passion for optimizing the customer experience.
Analytics/Insights/Custom Reporting: - Own Amazon US Inventory health reporting; identify at risk items from both an over- and under-stock perspective - work with the Sr. Director to implement pricing tactics to move through excess inventory
- Work alongside the Sr. Director and Demand Planning on forecast accuracy improvements; monthly review of consumption actuals vs. forecast - help drive decisions around correct p-level implementation
- Own Lost Buy Box reporting as well as the relationship with our 3P mitigation agency; track ASP's and Lost Buy Box rates and work in partnership with the agency to improve overall Margin health and Sales
- Utilize historical promotional performance to forecast lifts and sell through for tentpole events
- Leverage the digital shelf platform to track competitor promotional activity - lean on those insights to help form Honest's promotional strategy alongside the Sr. Director
- Leverage the digital shelf platform to track and communicate automated profit recovery; identify where manual intervention is needed and work cross-functionally on the dispute process
- Leverage SKAI for Share of Voice insights - identify must-win KW's as well as where Honest is losing and gaining to help drive media and copy decisions
- Utilize data from multiple platforms to identify critical keywords that will drive sales and execute changes to improve keyword ranking over time
- Leverage ABVP for Honest vs. total category and vs. key competitor metrics - create customized reporting to provide insights to the Brand and Marketing teams and to help identify brands to conquest
- Implement Amazon Fresh and Canada monthly Sales and Inventory health reports
- Co-own Subscription reporting to drive insights around consumer trends and preferences
- Monthly review of Brand Store analytics and competitor Storefronts for shopper journey insights
Sales/Merchandising: - Co-own the launch of new products alongside the Senior Director; evaluate and define best in class go-to-market procedures and requirements
- Support in establishing the variation strategy of product assortment
- Co-own the overall CX and maintenance of the Brand Stores - collaborate with the Creative team on asset refreshes and leverage insights for changes that drive improved click through and conversion rates
- Always be optimizing - continuous review of our titles, bullets, backend keywords, and assets
- Co-own the ongoing maintenance of our source of truth and the backend upkeep of our digital shelf platform to ensure audit accuracy
- Review competitor brands on Amazon to assess merchandising tactics and beta features
What you'll need: - 5-7 years of 1P Amazon experience required including in-depth knowledge of Vendor Central and Amazon Ads console; Preferred CPG experience
- Strong proficiency in navigating complex data and technology database systems (Tableau, AMZ's Vendor Central and Ads platforms) and advanced skills with Microsoft Excel; experience with Commerce IQ and/or SKAI is a plus
- Superior analytical skills with the ability to convert data into tools and reports that are actionable; passion for leveraging data to drive changes and results
- Strong business acumen - demonstrates an in-depth understanding of both company and customer strategies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and to the appropriate audience level
- Results driven - focuses on the tasks and achieves concrete results that contribute to the company's success
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated success in working collaboratively and building trust with both internal and external partners
- Curious with a test & learn state of mind - challenges approaches in search of more effective options
- Must be proactive, adaptable, and able to take initiative while working on a fast-paced team
Compensation The pay range for this role is $112,000 - $135,000. Actual compensation is based on many factors including but not limited to depth of experience, skill level, ability, knowledge, education, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total rewards package for this position may also include base, annual incentive plan, benefits, retirement plan, equity, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
